Lovely garden setting for wedding reception The garden of Anlaby, Kapunda, home of the bride's mother, Mrs. H. H. Dutton, made a lovely setting, for the reception after the wedding of Mrs. Helen Curkeet and Professor Richard Blackburn this morning.

The wedding was quietly celebrated in the home of the bride's brother, Mr. John Dutton. The bride wore a bouf-fant frock of parchment broderie Anglaise over re-versed satin. The oblong neckline and sleeves were, edged with Valenciennes lace. With it she wore a matching picture hat of straw and carried roses. Her niece, Miss Leonie Dutton, was the only attendant in an organdie frock in deep forget-me-not blue.

The frock had minute straps and three tucks on the bodice, topped by a tiny loose, bolero, buttoning high to the neck. The full skirt had bands of three tucks to the hemline. She carried yellow and blue daisies, matching the wreath of yellow-centred blue daisies in her hair. The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Black-burn, of Green Gables, Mount Lofty, was attended by his brother, Mr. Robert Blackburn.

Professor and Mrs. Blackburn will live at Mount Lofty where they have a house in Rostrevor Road. Guard of honor Eight officers of the 1st Field Regiment will form a guard of honor at the wedding of Miss Shirley Gray ana Lieut. John Chapman, in St. Mary Magdalene's Church. Rose Bay, NSW, this afternoon, Former GOG Central Command, Major-General J. A. Chapman, now Quarter Master-General of Australia in Melbourne, Mrs. Chapman, and Miss Betty Chapman travelled from Victoria for the wedding. The bride, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Gray, of Rose Bay, has chosen a white lame gown. The strapless gown has a long-sleeved jacket with a beaded collar, and a long train.. A peaked cap will hold the eight-tiered short tulle veil. and she ,will carry white orchids. Miss Betty Chapman will be bridesmaid with Misses Helen, Reed and Ricky Doherty. They will wear primrose satin frocks under white organza redingotes. quilted on the hem and bodice. The groom, his best man, his elder brother. Captain Austin Chapman, and one of the groomsmen. Lieut. Ken Hill, will wear the new walking-out "blues" of the Army. The other groomsman is the bride's brother. Lieut. Tony Gray, RANR. Sydney will be their home indefinitely. White Chantilly lace

White and wheat gold are the colors chosen by Miss Bonnie Warren for her bridal party today. Miss Warren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Warren, of Edwardstown, will marry Mr. Patrick Dinnison in Flinders Street Baptist Church at 6 p.m. The bride's gown of white Chantilly lace over satin has a high Medici collar and the full, flared skirt flows into a long train. An eggshell cap of satin and lace will hold a threetiered fingertip tulle veil, and she will carry. a.white kid Bible. Bridesmaids Misses Joan Gross and Gwennyth Brennan will wear frocks of wheat gold corded faille, made with Medici collars similar to the bride's on the flyaway jackets covering the strapless bodices. The bridegroom's father, Mr. John Adler, came from Benalla, Victoria, for the wedding. Three bridesmaids Three bridesmaids, Misses Lorice Hamra, Estelle McEllister, and Lannah O'Leary, attended Miss Marie Kennedy at her wedding with Mr. John McKeough this morning. The wedding took place in Sacred Heart College Chapel, Somerton. The bride, daughter of Mrs. M. E.- Kennedy, of Linden Park and the late Mr. Kennedy, wore a gown of French embossed magnolia satin.The The gown was made with a portrait neckline, fitting bodice,, and an unpressed pleated skirt falling into a train. Her three-tiered long veil was'held with a coronet of pearls. The bridesmaids wore frocks of oyster pink satin caught on the hiplines with bronze roses and worn with matching hug-metight jackets.Mr. Mr. McKeough, son of Mr. and Mrs. William McKeough, of Jamestown, was attended by Messrs Hugh Doherty, Brian Barry, and Pat Mcjeough. The couple have left on a three weeks' motoring tour of the eastern States.
