BIRTH.

At Bartlett's, near Bathurst, on the 21st instant, Mrs. George Bonnor, of a son.

DIED, At his residence, on the North Shore, Syd-ney, on the night of the 30th ultimo, after a few days illness, Thomas Jeffrey, Esq., aged 48 years, a man universally respected and be-loved by all who knew him well, for his amiable and obliging disposition and unas-suming manners. The day intervening be-tween the time of his decease and burial, being Sunday, precludes the possibility of issuing invitations to his numerous friends to attend his funeral, and this method is there-fore adopted of notifying to them, that it will take place at St. Leonard's Church, this day, and that the body will be removed from the

house at 12 o'clock.

On Saturday, 30th October, Philip John, son of Mr. Charles Benham, Hunter-street, aged eight months and two days.

At nine o'clock, yesterday, (Sunday, Oc-tober 31), Rev. J. McKenny, Wesleyan Mi-nister, at his residence, Stanmore, aged 59 years.

On the morning of the 31st October, Joseph George, aged 12 years, second son of Mr. Joseph

Looke, Balmain.
