PUBLIC GRAMMAR SCHOOL - A

SUGGESTION.

(TO THE EDITOR OF THE BRISBANE COURIER.)

SIR, -Seeing the promoters of the Grammar School are pretty well agreed Roma streot is

not a suitable site for the erection of such an

edifice, allow me to suggest that a choice site for suoh a purpose may readily be found on the eminence immediately behind the South Brisbane Recreation Reserve. A site of ample room, possessing every good quality for such a purpose, with the reserve in front, preserving an uninterrupted view of tho whole town, and adding to the health of the looality.

The only obstacle in the way is that this site is in South Brisbane, always a consideration in the affairs of city life.-I am, yours, &e,

- SOUTH SIDE.
