TASMANIAN TIMBER SHIPMENT. The

American ship Emily Reed having loaded about 400 000ft super of blue gum logs in the Channel, will be taken in tow early this morning by the steamers Nubeena and Taranna, her destination being Flinders Bay (Norfolk Bay), where she will complete her loading Messrs Gray Bros , who are supplying the cargo, under contract, hope to despatch the vessel in the first week of June for Simon's Town, South Africa She will probably carry close on a million feet of timber
