LYCEUM— SPENCER'S PICTURES.

In 'Dan Morgan,' at the Lyceum, the story of a notorious Australian bushranger is told in moving pictures.' Mr. Spencer claims that the locally-executed film shows Morgan as a brutal criminal— not as a hero. In the technical sense the pictures are admirable, and the reproduc

tions of bush scenery are wonderfully well done. While 'Dan Morgan' is retained this week as an Australian subject, there will be a change of ? programme to-morrow, so as to introduce some new scenic and dramatic films. Yesterday the Spencer pictures were shown at a matinee as well as in the evening.
