PHILLIP ISLAND BRIDGE

WONTHAGGI, Tuesday.—Bass Shire Council, of which Phillip Island was once a riding, adopted a resolution at its monthly meeting complimenting the Pre-mier (Mr. Dunstan) on his decision to construct a bridge between Phillip Island

and San Remo.

"Not only will this bridge be a blessing to the people of the island," the resolution stated, but it will also be a decided boon to hundreds of motorists in Victoria. We trust that the Government will proceed with the construction of the bridge as expeditiously as possible."
