Robbery Under Arms
Realism was added to Robbery Under Arm-., which will be presented all this
week at the Lyric and Strand, by tak
ing a number of scenes at Araluen in the heart of what was, years ago, bushranging country. In the lawless days Araluen was in the centre of the outlaws' domain, and was chiefly terrorised by Clark, w h o then was easily the most notorious character in that district, and was dreaded from
end to end of the country. Appearing in Robbery Under Arms is Tien Hogue, and in her opinion the production is even more realistic and typically Australian than the stage version.
