Champagne toast to Fulton's skills

USTRALIAN cookery writer Margaret Fulton has been awarded a diploma of honour "for her support to the cause of true Champagne".

The award was announced at a function marking the Feast of St Vincent, patron saint of champagne, organised by the Champagne Information Centre and held at La Potinicre Restaurant in McMahon's Point, Sydney.

The diplomas are awarded in France and overseas by the Comitc Interprofessionel du Champagne, which controls every aspect of the production of champagne.
