VOL LIQUIDATION OF

BAY STEAMERS LTD

Shareholders of Bay Steamers Ltd have decided to place the company in voluntary liquidation. Mr George H. Evans, secretary of the company, has been appointed liquidator.

Losses of £3,633 and £1,102 were incurred by the company in 1941-42 and 1942-43 respectively. These com-pared with profits of £1,722 in 1940-41, £3,528 in 1939-40, and £2,292 in 1938-39.

The steamer Weeroona, which was owned and operated by the company, was acquired by Government authorities as from March 17 last. Assets include shares in companies, £13,385; fixed deposit of £1,000, and debentures £350. Capital is £17,500 in 5s shares.
