Cattle Driving in Ireland.

CASE IN COUNTY CLARE. SIX AEBESTS.

LONDON, Monday Evening.— A drive of 600 head of cattle, horses, and sheep has been made on the estate of Mr. W. Ball, a magistrate at Ballinacally, county Clare, Ireland. The land had been let to several persons on the 11 months' system. One hundred of the cattle have been recovered. Six persons have been arrested in connec

tion with the drive. [Mr. William Hawkins Ball, from -robose estate the cattle -were driven, is the eldest son of 4he late Captain W- Si. James Ball, a Queen's Foreign Service Messenger. He is a man -of 31. and resides at Fort Fergus, Ballinacally. Mr. Ball is a magistrate for Clare, of which county he was High Sheriff in 1900. He is Lord of the Manor of Fort Fergus, and owns between 3000 and 4000 acres. 3 ?
