During this time IMr. Ferrett fis occupied thle chair on five occasions-in 1Stil, 1900, and from 1903 to 1900 consecutively. Cr. He also represented the East Ward on the Ipswich City Council for a term. Mr. Ferrett was born at Wallon Station, on the western line, on the Darling Downs, in the year 1856, when tihe station was owned 1by his uncle (the late ,Mr. John Ferrett), who, at one time, was a member of the Bundanba Shire Council. Cr. H. Ferrett followed station life in his early days on both Wallon Station and Dulacea Station, on the Darling D)ownsr hut now lives a retired life at East Ipswiceh. No doubt Cr.
