CROWD SAW SUICIDE

SYDNEY, Sunday.—Before a crowd of about 1,000 people Edward Kendall, of Cook's crescent, East Hills, shot himself

through the heart with a pea-rifle at the East Hills railway station to-day. The

crowd had gathered to celebrate the opening of an electric train service from Kingsgrove.
