The Key. D. Laseron.

The Rev. David Laseron, who was recently shot in a railway carriage by Mr. Walker, M.L. A., and was the recipient of a letter of sympathy from the Mayor and aldermen of the Paddingten Council, sent the following reply, which was read

at the council meeting last night : "My dear Mr. Mayor, — Please accept my warmest thanks for the kind and generous expression of sympathy forwarded to me by the council clerk. Will you tell the aldermen that they were much appreciated, and that the letter expressing the same will be treasured by me as a precious memento of Paddington love and sympathy. — I am, dear sir, yours faithfully, David Laseron."
