CATTLE SCENES.

AUSTRALIAN FILM.

MELBOURNE, September 29.

The advance guard of the Efftee Films unit to go on location at Coofields Creek, on the Queensland border, left by car to-day for the north. It comprised the managing and produc-ing director (Mr. F. W. Thring) Mr. William Hatfield, author of "Sheepmates," which is to be filmed and the technical staff, including sound and camera men. The party took four cameras, and on arrival at the selected location they will prepare to take big cattle mustering scenes in a film version of "Sheepmates."

It was originally intended to send the whole unit on October 8, but information was received that mustering had been put forward a week, so plans had to be changed. The actors who are taking part in the mustering scenes will join the unit at the termination of the run of the play "Sppe" in Melbourne, on October 7. They will leave by car on the following day.
