GROUND FOR BASEBALL

FINAL CHANGED

Steady rain has left the Albert ground

in such a sodden condition that the Vic-torian Baseball Association found it necessary to transfer the final match in the interstate carnival to-day to National

Park

New South Wales (the holder) and Western Australia, will now meet at 3.30 p.m. to decide

the destination of the Claxton Shield. If the weather is favourable the match between Victoria and South Australia will be played at 1 p.m. The other match, Queensland and a combined country team-has been abandoned.

Enthusiasts are advised to take a tramway bus in Lonsdale street to Johnston street, and walk over Kane's bridge to National Park.
