Home-made 'Yowie'

Mr Ken Taber, an employee of J. B. Young Ltd, Queanbeyan, and the 'Yowie' which took him 50 hours to build. The creature is reputed to roam the hills of the Monaro region. Mr Taber's one is made of a wood frame, wire and synthetic fur, and is to be displayed at Youngs. The Quean-beyan City Festival Committee and 2CA have each offered $100,000 for capture of

a real 'Yowie'.
