Chased Dingo in Motor-car

SYDNEY. Thursday.-A large dingo

was killed in an unusual way re- cently by Mr. Paul Nomchong, of Braidwood. Driving in his motor- car near Oranmeir, he saw the ani- mal on the road, and, heading it away from the fence, he chased it for more than two miles, eventually running over it and breaking one of its hind legs. Mr. Nomchong drove back to a settler's home and procured a gun with which he shot the dingo. It was very dark In colour, and bore unmis- takable evidence of being an Alsa- tian-dingo cross. It had killed many sheep in the locality.
