Reardon retains title

MELBOURNE, Friday. — World professional snooker champion Ray Reardon reiamed his title last night

when he beat Australian Eddie Charlton 31 frames to 30.

Reardon began the day two frames behind Charlton and still trailed by one frame with four frames to play.

Reardon, who has now won the title four times since 1970, collected $7,500

for his won. Charlton won $4,500. • .

Reardon retained his titlo in the final frame with' a break of 62. He had a break of 92 in the third-last frame.
