Margaret Fulton to lead tour

CHINESE food buffs will sample

the best in Chinese cuisine during a 23-day gourmet tour of China which begins on December 1 from Sydney.

Led by noted Australian cooking ex-

pert Mrs Margaret Fulton, the 24 mem-bers of the tour group will visit many

of the finest restaurants in China on a tour which will include Canton, Shang-hai, Tsinan, Tsingtao, Kunming and Peking.

While the tour will specialise in Chi-nese restaurants, Mrs Fulton says there will be a number of China's historical sites included in the itinerary.

"We'll go to communes, universities,

factories and handicraft institutes as well", she said. She also hopes the tour will have a chance to see acupuncture procedures in a Chinese hospital.

The flight to Hong Kong will be with Qantas and the tour will cost between $2,557 and S2,736 depending on city or origin in Australia..

After these three short cruises the Sea Princess will make two longer voy-ages to the East.

On December 22 she will sail on a 33-day cruise to Port Moresby, Manila, Hong Kong, Penang, Port Kelang, Sin-gapore, Jakarta and Bali. With Christ-mas and New Year at sea the holidaymaker will be offered a festive English-style Christmas and a lively New Year, complete with traditional haggis.

The Sea Princess will sail on Febru-ary 9 for an even longer and more leisurely 46-day voyage south to Mel-bourne, across to Fremantle and then north to Bali, Jakarta, Singapore, Ma-nila, Hong Kong, Guam, Rabaul and

Brisbane.

This cruise includes nine nights in Singapore and four nights in Hong Kong and passengers will be transferred to comfortable hotels for these stops, providing the ideal solution for those wanting to combine a cruise with an Asian holiday.
