NASH ONLY INJURY AT SOUTH MELB

Laurie Nash was the only South Melbourne player to report an injury at training yesterday. He has a split hand, but hopes to be available for Saturday's match against North

Melbourne.

P. Leahy, recently cleared from Geelong, trained for the first time. A. Baxter, C. Crane, and J. Hacker have recovered from old injuries. Mick Mullenger, injured in the first match last season, played with the seconds on Saturday, and stood up satisfactorily to a solid tryout.
