JOHNS REREGISTERED

Association Permits

H, Johns (Williamstown) applied to the Association permit and umpire committee last night to be registered as a play er. He had been disqualified for three Saturdays on a charge of having struck a Prahran player. Johns admitted nine previous disqualifications. After being cautioned by the chairman (Mr. O. Sayers) Johns was re-registered.

L. Dwyer, who left North Melbourne without a clearance to Join Yurrnvlllo several years ago. was granted a permit to return to North Melbourne. He had not played with Yarraville

for two-years.

W. Colon applied for a clearance from Cam-berwell to Kew. He was told that his applies

tion was late, but that he could apply to Cam-berwell for permission to play with Kew.

The Brunswick delegate (Mr. Waite) reported that the match between Northcote and Bruns-wick on July 14 was 10 minutes too long. It was decided to ask the timekeepers to appear before next meeting of the committee.
