Perpetual Shield for Competition

At the conclusion of the interstate carnival in Adelaide last week Mr. N. A. Claxton, former South Australian cricketer and baseballer, and a patron

of the South Australian Baseball Association, pre- sented a shield, to be known as the Claxton shield, for perpetual competition between New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.
