Players Disqualified

The independent tribunal of the Amateur Association (Messrs H J Stewart, J V Deane C " Hudson C v O ice, and C E Sandford) met last night at McEwan House to investigate charges arising out of games last Saturday

The umpire Turnbull charged F Harris of West Brunswick with having deliberately kicked at J Dunning (Bentleigh) and with having kicked C Broadbent (Bentleigh) during the third quarter of the a section game between Bentleigh and West Brunswick at Bentleigh The charges against Harris were dismissed because of lack of evidence but both Running and Broadbent were disqualified for one Saturday each because of unsatisfactory

evidence

The umpire Thomson charged C Robinson (Glenhuntly) with having kicked at J Dowding (Old Caulfield Grammarians) and with having struck B Wemyss (Old Caulfield) during the third quarter of the C section game between Old Caulfield and Glenhuntly at Caulfield Grammar School

follow ing the incidents reported the umpire ordered Robinson of the field for the rest of the game

Both charges were sustained, and Robinson was

disqualified for 12 months
