Peace Negotiations in Arabian

Negotiations for peace between Ibn Saud, King of the Hedjaz and the Imam of Yemen are in progress. It is reported that Ibn Saud has agreed to suspend military operations pending the Imam's assurances that he will carry out the conditions of peace. Ibn Saud desires a treaty guaranteeing peace for 20 years. Previously he demanded the Imam's abdication and the occupation by the Saudi forces of the frontier areas for five years.
