Horrie Farmer's Death

The death has occurred of the old footballer Horrie farmer. He was down the street this morning convdersing with many

friends and although he haad been ailing for some time, he appeared fairly well. He suddenly col

lapsed and was taken to the West Gippsland Hospital where he died this afternoon. The deceased was formerly a leading footballer for St Kilda, Prahran and Warragul clubs. His son, Horrie, who is now vlth tho Richmond club , was Warragul's star goal kicker for several years, and was the leading player with bat and ball in the Warragul District Cricket Association this season/

His best effort with the bat was 188 not out in the final match still unfinished. The deceased also placed cricket for Warragul/ Horrie Farmer will not play in Richmond practice game

today.
