Bereavement in tbe Premier's Family.

Early this morning, Mr. Robert S. Parkes, eldest son of the Hon. Sir Henry Parkes, died at his resi-dence, Mary-street, Surry Hills, and in consequence of this bereavement the Colonial Secretary was not present at his office this forenoon. Mr. Robert Parkes had been for a long time a sufferer from dropsy, resulting from that fatal organic malady Bright's disease. He had been employed in the Government Printing Office as a bookbinder, but for a considerable time past was unable to follow his occupation, through severe indisposition. He leaves a wife and two children.
