MR. NORMAN CAMERON RETURNED.

LAUNCESTON, Sunday.—The final re- sult of the by-election for Wilmot, for the vacancy created by the death of Sir Edward Braddon, has resulted in the return of Mr.

Norman Cameron, who polled 2,386 votes.

Mr. J. W. Cheek, the protectionist candi- date, secured 2,183 votes.
