A very heavy fall of snow occurred here the morning It began to fall lightly at 11 o'clock on Saturday night, and ceased shortly before 8 o'clock this morning Til o inches, preceded by

heron points of rain, were registered, and in many parts of the town the snow lies seven! inches deep. The sight of the town and surrounding plains and hills draped in white is an imposing one, and is much admired Snowballing was freely indulged in this morning.
