PUBLIC AND RAILWAY SERVICE

VOTE.

The officers of the electoral branch request that public and railway officers will return their voting-papers in the envelopes sent out for the purpose with the papers. The colour of the envelopes corresponds with the colour of the voting-papers, and if this request is complied with it will facilitate

counting the votes. Some of the public and railway officers entitled to vote for the Legislative Council have complained that they did not receive the voting-papers for that Chamber along with their Assembly-papers. The officiais explain that, as there were many more Assembly than Council papers to be sent out, the Assembly papers were dealt with first. The Council papers will be sent out in due time.
