Fijians 21-19

SUVA, Tuesday (AAP). - The Australian Wallabies rugby union team beat Fiji 21-19 today in the final match of their tour of New Zealand and Fiji.

But the tourists were booed for several minutes by the crowd after Fiji hooker Antonio Racika was apparently kicked in the back and laid out while sitting on the ground

after the whistle.

The incident was one of several which upset the Fiji players.

Wallabies went

ahead

The Wallabies led 14-10 at half time and went ahead 21-10 midway through the second half.

Fiji came back to score nine points in the last 10

minutes.

The bigger Australians dominated the scrums and lineouts.

Bob Wood, Peter Sullivan, Peter Rowles, Barry Stumbles scored tries for Australia. Russell Fairfax kicked a dropped goal and Bob Thompson converted. Winger Vuniani Varo scored two tries for Fiji and Isimeli Batibasaga kicked three penalties and

a conversion.

The Wallabies return to Australia tomorrow morning. Australian half-back John Comes was assisted from the field after a heavy tackle by Varo in the second half and was replaced by Garreth Grey.
