1 - A LAD'S DEATH.

STUNG BY A JELLYFISH.

While a party of picnickers were bathing at Pioneer Bay, Queensland, to-day, a lad named Albert George was stung by a jellyfish. After suffering great agony he became unconscious,

and died within an hour.

The jellyfish had long, thread-like tentacles, which adhered to the lad's body.
