  • [?]ATAL MOTOR SMASH Caused By Skidding BUS DRIVER EXONERATED The inquest into the death of Vivian Rouse who was killed in the motor accident on the Uriarra Road on Sunday, November 21, was concluded by the Coroner (Mr. John Gale) at Queanbeyan on Tuesday. After hearing lengthy evidence, Mr. Gale found that the accident had been caused by unaccountable skidding of the back wheels of the car and that the driver was in no wise responsible. Robert Baines who had been held in custody on a charge in connection with the accident was accordingly discharged at a sitting of the police court held immediately afterwards.
