AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
There was a large gathering at Bate's Hotel,
Coburg on Saturday night, when a smoke concert
was held by the members of the Coburg Harriers.
The object of the gathering was to present the trophies won in the various club competitions dur- ing the last season, and these were distributed as follows: Four Miles Club Race - J Ramsay, 1; J. Foster 2; W. Norman, 3; the latter also receiv- ing the trophy for scoring the highest number of points during the.season. The presentations were made by Councillor G. Bush, president of the dis- trict, who occupied the chair, and during the evening a musical programme ws disposed of.
