OBITUARY. Mrs R. THOMAS. The death of Mrs Catherine Thomas, relict of the late Mr Richard Thomas, took place at her son's residence, Yambuk, on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased lady, who was well and favorably known and highly respected, Arrived in Port Fairy from England in 1852, by the ship "Priam." Her husband predeceased her 13 years ago. A family of 4 sons (Edwards John, Sampson, James Edwin and Albert) and 2 daughters- Mrs Watts (Yam buk) and Mrs Walter Dalgleish (Cas terton), besides 45 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren are left to mourn their loss. The late Mrs Thomas had reached the ripe old age of 92 years, and was a colonist of 66 years. The funeral will leave the a residence of her son, Mr E. J. Thomas, to-morrow, Friday, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon for the Yam buk cemetery, Messrs Guyett and Sons having charge of the mortuary arrangements.
