OBITUARY. In the person of Mr John Wishart Gibson-whose death occurred on Tuesday last, at his late residence, " Woodrow Vale "- Colac loses a valued and highly respected resi dent. For many years the late Mr Gibson was a well-known importer in Geelong, but he relinquished that calling, and acquired consider able property in and around Colac; where. he had since resided, Mr Gibson was an enthusiastic devotee of golf, and every summer he was a prominent figure on the Port Fairy Golf Links, and had many friends amongst the players. The late Mr Gibson, who was 65 years of age, had been in frail health for some time, so his death was not altogether unexpected. He leaves a widow and five sons to mourn his death. Two of his sons, Messrs John - L. and Percy Gibson, are well-known landowners at Aringa, near Port Fairy.
