Matrimony in Tooborac. (FROM A CORRESPONDENT.) On April 8th, Ellis-Gilmore. Maggie the eldest daughter of Mr W. Gilmore, of Gap Creek, Tooborac, was married to Mr J. Ellis, eldest son of Mr O. Ellis, of South Heatheote. A large number of friends and relatives of the bride and bridegroom were present to witness the interesting ceremony, after which a sumptuous breakfast was partaken of. Mr M'Master proposed the health of the newly married couple and then a largely attended reception was held, followed by a dance which lasted until the wee sma hours. On Easter W.ednesday, Kilpatrick Donaldson. Miss - Jane Donaldson, eldest daughter of Mr W. Donaldson, grand daughter of the late Mr Mark Hayes, was united in bonds of holy matrimony to Mlr Andrew Kilpatrick, of this district. A large concourse of relatives and friends were present to witness the marriage which took place at the home of the bride's parents, Tooborac West. A wedding breakfast was held and mutual congratulations followed. A largo party of friends then drove to the Too bor?i R.S. to give the bride and bride groom a "send off" on their honeymoon to Melbourne The lucky pair received over seventy valuable presents. Rainey-Easton. On Wednesday, April 24th, Miss E. Easton w?~s married to Mr A. Rainey, only son of Mr David Rainey, of Pyalong.. The wedding, which was a quiet one, took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs Easton, Tooborac. The bride and bride groom proceeded to Sandhurst, and on Friday, 26th, returned home, and a very large attendance of friends woere present at the bride's late home to celebrato the nuptials, over seventy being present. A grand supper was given and enjoyed: Dancing was patronised in the dining room, and a concert was held in" the drawing room. a very tboughtfnl arrange. ment for the comfort of the visitors, pre venting the crush that usually happens at such gatherings. ThI dresses were very elaborate worn by the fair sex. The bride looking very pretty and gracefully in her bridal dress. ' The R v. Mr. Crockett performed all three of the ceremonies.
