Obituary. The.death of Mrs Elizabeth Presnell, mother of Messrs Fred, Charles, and Arthur (Port Fairy), and Mesdames 'A. Bre.tt(Port Fairy),J. Arthur (Nth Fitzroy), J. Shaw (Northcote), E. Pearson (Ko roit), Vennell (Melbourne), and Lynch (Donnybrook), occurred this morning at the residence of one 'of her sons (Fred). The family originally numbered 13-6 sons and 7 . daughters. The deceased lady had been a sufferer for a consider able time from an internal complaint, and on several occasions her life had been despai:ed of. She was a native of Parramatta, New South Wales,- and came toPort Fairy with her parents a child of eleven years wf age, the voyage cover ing a period of six weeks. She spent all her life here and married thelate Winm. .Presnell (who predeceased her by 30 years) an old Western district pioneer who interested- himself in farming pursuits and brought the first threshing plant to these parts. She resided in Port Fairy for 69 years, and had reached the ripe age of 79 years. The late Mrs Pres tiell was a woman of fine personality, and was held in the highest respect by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. The funeral takes place to-morrow (Tnesday) afternoon, at 3 o'clock, to *the Port Fairy Cemetery.
