Kelly, the young rnS&n who is supposed :o be Power's mste, was brought np a; the Lncil Police Court on remand from the previous week. Super intendent Xicolson appeared on behalf of the Grown. The firit charge was that of robbing Mr M'Bsan in company. Mr M'Bean could no: identify the prisoner :« one of the men who itoc'c him up, and he was consequently di«charged. The second charge was oi robbery under suns near Seymour ; but in this C3>e the witnesses could not be found, and the prisoner was again dis charged. A third charge was then brought against him of robbing a man named Murray under arms, near Lauriston. In this case Superintendent Nicolson applied for a remand on a warrant from Kyneton. He stated to the bench that the description in the warrant corresponded exactly v?ith the prisoner, and a remaiid to Kyneton was granted.
