MRS. H.B. BONNEY.
A very few, years ago, Mrs H. B. Bonney, Queensland's foremost
aviatrix, abandoned a promising musical career because her tutor
declared she lacked the nerve ilidrtiary to do herself justice be for a concert audience. To-day she is in the forefront of flying women and manages her 'plane with more confidence than the
average man drives a motor car.
She was training for a musical career at the Victoria Lyceum iHambure, and received a medal for
playing to the Princess of Heusen It was a bitter disappointment to be told she had not the tempera- ment to make really good in the
path she had selected.
