Fishing at Nelson.
A. Nelson resident reports Satur day afternoon last was quite a gala day on the river. Every boat on the river y/as requisitioned by visitors and residents, who were anxious to secure some of the fish that were biting free ly. . .Some good catches were made, principally of mulloway and bream, but several of the fly fishermen report good catches of perch. Most of the catches were made between Taylor*s Straits and the mouth of the river."
