Local News. Thelocal stationnmaster wasofficially advised yesterday of the rcinstatement ,f the fast train. There is to be no diminution in the number of trains run on other days of tile weeks. The Acting-Secretary for Railways has written to the Shire Secretary stating that " the train leaving Mel bourne at 4.50 p.m., and which has hitherto terminated at Woomelang (? Donald) on Saturdays, will on and after the 2nd October be continued to MIildura, reaching that place at 8.30 a.m. on Sundays. The return train will leave Mildura at 8 a.m. each Mon day and will reach Melbourne at t0.55 p.m. on Monday, as w-as formerly the case."
