CROCKERiY AND IRON SH?AKEN. In the forenoon of Christmas Day (writes our Clear Lake correspondent) many of the local residents had a sud den shock by hearing two distinct re ports which shook the crockery and glavanised iron on the buildings. Sc veral saw a moving object travelling in a southerly direction, leaving in its trail a volume of smoke. Shortly after, reports were heard and smoke rose heavehward.. One unconfirmed re port states that the strange visitor fell in the Barton Lake near .Toolondo and knocked a holeull the bottom aud allowed all the water to run out.
