Latest News. ---:o:-- (By Wire.-From our Correspondent). -Melbourne, Monday. A MELBOURNE TRIO. Myrtle Shadforth, aged 19, who stated she wat married when only 13 years of age, and was living apart from her husband, was sentenced to day to one month's imprisonment for vagrancy. The sentence was suspend ed on. her entering into a bond to be of good behavior. George" Taylor was awarded 12 months, and James Cottrell three months for a serious offence. The evidence showed that the girl decoyed a man into a park, - and that Taylor and Cottrell, producing revolvers, robbed him. Cottrell was. liberated on entering into a bond to be of good behavior for life.
