Obituary ---0----- Regret was expressed throughout the Waestern district on Thursday whben it be eamp known that Mr. T. If. Thomas. proprietor of the, Casterton Free Pres9,. had passed away after an illness of con niderable duration, DeCeased, who was 47 years of age, was a well-known jour nalist and had been proprietor of many papers. He conducted the P'ort :Fairy Gazetto for about five years, which paper he sold a few months ago to take over the Free Press. Deceased, who was gene- I rally well liked, leaves a widow and two children. His father also survives him. Mrs. Susan Taylor, mother of Dr. Char les Taylor, of Hamilton. died on Thums day, aged 78. She leaves three song avd one daughter. The death rccurred at foiunt Gambler last week of Mary Ann=iieselbach, wife of Mr. Ad. Kieselbacl, ages 53. De ceased took a great interest in. local charities and was an acceptable singer of Scotch songs. The death occurred at Geelong on Tues day last of Mrs. Dunge, wife of Mr. Henry Dunge, of Sheep Hills. Deceased, who was 49 years of age, had been ail ing for some time. Her remains were brought to Sheep Hills for interment. The death is announced of a very old resident of the Navarre district, Mr. John Smith, aged 78. He had been a colonist for 55 years.
