3 1 L A 11 . A lire which occurred on the farm of Messrs Nuske Bros., Pullut, did da uwage to the extent. of £1200. The lire broke out in a shed adjoining the stock yard, and rapidly spread, despite the efforts of a number of farmers. stables, an engine, a new chaffeutter, harness, fencing, and poultry yards, and 200 tons of hay were destroyed. There Was no insurance. It has been decided to lay the foun dation stone-of the new hall, soldiers' lounge aild renading room on 1Wednes day, 25th May. Brigadier-General .El liott. 'has been invited to perform the ceremony.
