The Ministry pays a tribut to the
number of oxhibits with high engine power in proportion to the weight of the machine, thus providing useful ro serve power. Important advances were also shown in types permitting of ris ing and landing Jin a confined space, the best specimens of which were the so-ca.led "'Amphibians," which were capable of alighting on and rising fronb laud and water, and have high coum mercial potentialities. Although the rules do not forbid loreign manufactured secondary equip ment, such items were insignificant among the exhibits, while all the mag netos were British.
