IORSE JTUMPS INTO SIfDE-CAR. A most peculiar accident occurred at Green Park about 200 yards south of the Wimmera River bridge on Friday night. .Mr. E J. Cooper was driving a motor cycle and side-car, which was occupied by Mrs. W. Living, along the Stawell road on the bitumen formation about S o'clock when suddenly a horse made its unpleasant appearance. The animal, which was attached to a spring cart, was being driven along the dirt track, apparently shied, and turning sharply as the motor cycle was passing,. its fore feet struck 'Mrs. Living, who was in the side-car. It was apparent that the unfortunate woman was pain fully injured and the ambulance was summoned by telephone. After arrival at the IIorsham Base Hospital, Mrs. L'ving was found to be suffering from severe facial abrasions and a broken collarbone. She is progressing favor ably.
