OBITUARY         The death took place at the Horsham Base Hospital on Saturday of a well-   known and popular resident of Jeparit, Mr. Adrian Anderson, a brother-in-law of Mrs. Hector McLean, of Smith street Horsham. The late Mr. Anderson who was 68 years of age and a retired store- keeper at Jeparit, had grazing inter- ests in that district. He was a native, of Wisconsin, U.S.A. and came to Aus- tralia with his parents at the age of four and a half years. For six years he resided in West Australia and 58 years were spent in Victoria. Regret was expressed in the Wimmera at his passing, and as a tribute to his mem- ory, several motor cars journeyed from Jeparit to attend the funeral ,which took place at the Horsham cemetery on Sunday. Adrian and Allan, two sons of deceased, died on active ser- vice and several members of the Je- parit Returned Soldiers' Association paid their last respects to the late Mr. Anderson. Besides a widow there are left a daughter, Flora, and a son, Rob- ert. to mourn their sad loss. The coffin-bearers were Messrs C. McDonald, C. Volkmann, R. Grayson, V. Lawes, D. Vickers and C. Rennison. The service   at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. W. Reed.
