We're all too busy with the Games
IS FORGOTTEN
CHRISTMAS, ONLY a month away, has been for gotten in the whirl and excitement of the Olympic Games, BUT ..._
lueiDüurne can expect
its most frenzied shop ping spree when the Games end.
All the customary Christ mas preparations for child ren have been made in lead ing city and suburban stores, but so far relatively few children have seen Father Christmas and the special attractions in the shops.
Mr. W. D. M. Johnson, Retail Traders Association director, said yesterday:
"Most children want to see Father Christmas, and this will create problems for parents unless they use what little time is left to their ad vantage.
"Christmas is a time for children and they MUST not
be disappointed."_
