Ten Pounds Reward. A REWARD of Ten Pounds will b paid to any person who will apprehend and deliver into the custody of the Chief Constable at Port land, a man calling .himself James Ross. DEscasRirio.-About 5 feet 8 inches high; complexion, sallow; hair, brown, and long at the time ; age, about 30 years. Wore a shepherd's peacoat when he left Port Fairy on the 17thinst.; m company with two men. The public are also cautioned not to cash three cheques, TNos. 16, 17, and 18, dated MArch 16th, 1843, drawn by John Cox, Esq., of Port Fairy, i favor of James Ross, or bearer, on theUnionBank of Australia, Melbourne, payment having been stopped at the Bauk.
